Alloy:

CuNi10Fe1Mn, CuNi30Mn1Fe with the chemical composition of BS EN 12451:1999.

C70600, C71500 with the chemical composition to ASTM B 111M.


Purpose: Tubes are used for the manufacture of copper-nickel heat exchangers.

Outside diameter - 10 mm to 30 mm inclusive *

Wall thickness - 1.0 mm to 3.0 mm inclusive *

Length - 1500 - 14000 mm *


Requirements:
1 Geometric dimensions according to BS EN 12451:1999, ASTM B 111M.
2 Mechanical properties and condition of the material:
2.1For the tubes to BS EN 12451:1999 and ASTM B 111M.

Note. The values of yield strength for tube states R310, R480 in parentheses are for information only.

When tested for yield strength tubes the states R310, R480 indicate the actual.


The tubes should be sealed. Control discontinuities is performed using the eddy current flaw detector.

Other requirements of BS EN 12451:1999 and ASTM B 111M.
